The United States Universities Debating Championship is being held at the University of Vermont. Professor Alfred "Tuna" Snyder, who is coach of UVM's debate team, explained the competition on The :30.
It includes 200 teams from the U.S. and 15 other countries competing in the battle of debate.
"The competition is incredibly fierce," said Snyder, saying topnotch students from Harvard, Yale, and Stanford are competing as well.
