A budget crunch means layoffs at Lyndon State College.
The college says four faculty and staff positions were cut as the school grapples with a $700,000 budget deficit and declining enrollment.
School President Carol Moore announced her retirement two weeks ago and cited the current fiscal difficulties as one reason for stepping down.
