A St. Johnsbury man is facing a string of charges after he allegedly made several poor decisions.
Police say James Hollenback hit his girlfriend with an unopened can of beer and threatened to burn her house down so he could watch her and her two children burn. After that he allegedly threatened a teenager and then assaulted a police officer.
The 26-year-old man pleaded not guilty to charges of domestic assault, unlawful mischief, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
