Police in Montpelier say they caught a woman trying to trade sex for money.
At 12:30 Tuesday morning police gave 23-year-old Sarah Richardson a warning after hearing she was propositioning men. A short time later an undercover officer reportedly drove by Richardson on State Street. Police say she approached the car, offered to trade sex for money and made an agreement with the officer.
Richardson was then arrested and charged with prostitution. If convicted she faces a year in prison and a $100 fine.
