Interim president named at LSC

Lyndonville, Vermont - June 7, 2011

There's a new interim president at Lyndon State College.

Steve Gold takes over on July 5.

The Montpelier man served in state government for 35 years, holding numerous positions including commissioner of corrections, and employment and training. He also held two deputy secretary positions in Human Services and the Agency of Administration.

He's expected to be on the job at Lyndon for a year. He replaces Carol Moore who is retiring after 13 years at the school.
