Stolen boats returned to flooded Burlington business

Burlington, Vermont - June 9, 2011

An update on a Burlington business hit hard by the flooding-- the popular Auer Family Boat House.

The boathouse and the rest of the North Cove neighborhood have been underwater for weeks, doing untold damage to the buildings. But the Auers were further victimized when looters broke into the store and stole merchandise and memorabilia.

Charlie Auer now tells us he has recovered two boats that were stolen, but he has yet to assess all of his other losses.
