PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Two men have been indicted on charges they robbed a West Greenwich bank, holding employees at gunpoint as they arrived for work.
The U.S. Attorney's office in Rhode Island says Louis R. Peters III and Craig A. Casey were indicted Wednesday.
Authorities say Peters, of West Topsham, Vt., and Carey, of Fall River, Mass., threatened bank employees during the May 28 robbery.
Police apprehended the men shortly after the robbery, following a botched getaway attempt.
The men face conspiracy, bank robbery and firearms charges.
An attorney for Peters declined to comment. Carey's attorney had not returned a call seeking comment as of Wednesday afternoon.
