Women's Hockey World Championships coming to Vermont

Burlington, Vermont- August 1, 2011

The best women's hockey players in the world will be in Burlington next April for the 2012 world championships. Eight teams have qualified for the tournament, with games being played at UVM's Gutterson Fieldhouse and Cairns Arena in South Burlington.

Tickets for that event went on sale for the general public Monday.

To talk about what fans can look forward to next April, USA hockey star Jenny Potter, a three-time Olympic medalist, appeared on The :30 live via satellite from Minneapolis.
