Northeast Kingdom, Vermont -- August 22, 2011
Court documents are shedding light on what was behind a big gun raid in the northeast kingdom.
Earlier this month federal authorities took more than 500 guns from the homes of Phil Ciotti, a former Caledonia County police officer, and Richard Bernholz, a federal immigration agent.
Court papers show the men own weapons used in a Boston homicide and in a shooting in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Now investigators want to determine whether the guns were purchased illegally.
