Norwich Football Hungry for New Season

NORTHFIELD, Vt.--   The Norwich Football Team opens on the road at Western New England College September 3rd. The Cadets have been tabbed as co-favorites to win the ECFC along with reigning champ SUNY-Maritime.  Head coach Mark Murnyack takes over the program, as the Cadets high powered nationally ranked offense returns.  Junior quarterback and former BFA-St. Albans star Kris Sabourin is a former co-Rookie of the Year and conference offensive player of the year.  Meanwhile, the core of a defense that led the ECFC in points and rushing yards allowed is also back.  With all that talent returning, expectations are high in Northfield.
