BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont teenager has been reported missing in Brattleboro,
Marble Arvidson, 17, of West Brattleboro, was last seen Saturday afternoon and may have been headed for a hike. The Brattleboro Reformer reports that Arvidson, a Brattleboro Union High School student who was living with two mentors, hasn't been seen since.
His case manager at Families First, a human services agency, says she's afraid something might have happened to Arvidson since Tropical Storm Irene hit. She says he's a high-functioning boy with many connections in the community and probably would've checked in with someone if he were OK.
A missing persons report was filed Monday.
Brattleboro police didn't return calls seeking comment on the disappearance.
