Thieves are now targeting flood victims.
Someone stole 15 generators from the American Red Cross this weekend in Clarendon, and police say a handful of evacuated homes in Rutland have also been broken into.
According to the Rutland Herald, each of the generators cost about $1,000. They were being kept in a storage facility in Clarendon.
