Dartmouth beats Colgate 37-20 in the season opener at Memorial Field.  Big Green running back Nick Schwieger puts up 175 yards rushing and goes over 2,000 yards for his career.

Meanwhile on the High School Football Field, both Hartford and Winooski win on the road.  The Hurricane beat Mount Mansfield, 20-12.  Hartford, CVU and Middlebury are all 3-0 in DI.  The Spartans beat Mount Saint Joseph, 57-14 in DII action.
