Becky Allen from Green Mountain Pug Rescue appeared on the Channel 3 Morning News Tuesday with an adoptable pug friend, Samurai.
Samurai is available for adoption. Allen says he's mild-mannered and likes to watch movies and eat popcorn.
Green Mountain Pug Rescue is having a fundraising social on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the TopNotch field in Stowe. It's from 10-4 and according to Allen, hundreds of pugs will attend. All the profit from the event goes to helping pugs. The event will include all the pugs available for adoption.
Contests include pug races, curliest tail, oldest, alumni parade and a costume contest.
Green Mountain Pug Rescue takes in pugs from owner surrenders, puppy mills and shelters and gets them ready for adoption.
