West Rutland, Vermont - October 7, 2011
Police hope you can help them identify a bank robber. Surveillance photos from the Lake Sunapee Bank on Main Street in West Rutland show the suspect.
Police say he walked into the bank just before noon Friday and gave a note to a teller demanding she empty her drawer. The note said the robber had a gun, but no weapon was displayed.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 6' and 6'2" with a thin build and dirty blonde hair. He had an ear-expanding earring in his left ear.
Police believe this is the same man who robbed the Merchants Bank in Rutland on Sept. 7.
Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call Vt. State police in Rutland at 802-773-9101.
