Bakersfield, Vermont - November 6, 2011
A head-on collision in Franklin County sent two people to the hospital Sunday.
It happened on Route 108 in Bakersfield. Police say it wasn't clear which driver crossed the center line. Rescuers used the jaws of life to extract one of the drivers. Twenty-three year-old Nicole O'Donnell of Duxbury, Massachusetts and 62-year-old Rochelle Prive of Waterville were both sent to the Northwestern Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
