BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The UVM men's hockey team is home ahead of Saturday night's showdown with Twin State rival New Hampshire at Gutterson.
The Cats have come out of the gate slowly to start the season. Vermont went 1-3 over the first two weekends, but those results could partially be explained by the fact that the teams they faced, Minnesota and Merrimack, were both ranked in the top ten in the nation at the time.
That reasoning went out the window this past weekend as Vermont travelled to Providence and was swept by the Friars in the two game series by a combined score of 10-3. It's still very early in the season, but the team needs to start finding some answers, or it could be a long winter in Cat Country. Ashley Chase caught up with the IceCats at their regular Tuesday press conference.
