Your blood type might affect your risk for stroke. A new study suggests people with type AB and women with type B may be a little more likely to suffer a stroke than people with type O, the most common blood type.
Researchers studied 90,000 people for more than 20 years.
Other research ties blood type to the risk of bleeding, heart attacks and blood clots in the legs.
The study was discussed Wednesday at an American Heart Association conference.
