Bridgewater, Vermont - November 18, 2011
Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin is thanking "corporate angels" for their help in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.
The state says corporate donations from around the country have helped Vermonters with food, housing, and other recovery assistance. Friday in Bridgewater, Vermont, the Governor thanked Ernie Boch Jr., the President of Subaru of New England, for a 100-thousand dollar donation for Vermonters impacted by the storm.
"This is the only state where Subaru beats Honda. That's big for us. And I just love Vermont and am honored to help out," Boch said.
The Governor says families still need help.
