Consumer Reports tested apple juice and grape juice and found high levels of arsenic and lead.
Of 88 samples, 10 percent had arsenic levels above what's allowed in drinking water; 25 percent had more lead than what's allowed in bottled water.
There are no limits on what's allowed in juice, but now the FDA says it's looking more closely to determine if a threshold needs to be established.
Consumer Reports recommends not giving juice to babies under six months and says children under 6 should only have a few ounces per day.
