Suspects arrested in goat attacks

West Windsor, Vermont - December 4, 2011

Two men have been arrested for stabbing a families pet goats.

The two goats belonged to the family of West Windsor Game Warden Steve Majeski. They were stabbed in the throat on the evening of October 31 and one of them died.  

Police say 33-year-old Nick Ashline of Hartland and 20-year-old Daniel Parry were responsible. They have been charged with burglary and two counts of animal cruelty.  At this time police are not releasing a motive or details of the investigation.  The two men are cited to appear in court later this month.
