CASTLETON, Vt.--  Most college hockey players are recruited for what they can do on the ice. But when head coach Alex Todd recruited senior captain Lindsey Gullett to be part of the Spartans program, he knew it was his off the ice actions that would mean the most.

"In the recruiting process one of the things that really impressed me," Todd says "He was injured in the playoffs and he was such a good leader and teammate, they preferred to have him on the bench with a sweater on and sacrifice a healthy body, just because he meant that much."

In Gullett's 76 games as a Spartan, he's tallied 16 goals and 23 assists. Leading by example with his skills, and with his composure as well.  Off the ice, Lindsey has helped produce the team's media guide, schedules and posters.
