A memorial fund has been set up for the daughters of a slain police officer. One of them attends Plattsburgh State.
New York City Police Officer Peter Figoski was shot in the face and killed this week while investigating a burglary. He could have retired two years ago, but didn't because of a divorce and because his four young daughters lived with him. Two are in grade school, two others attend college, including 18-year-old Caitlyn who attends Plattsburgh State.
An education fund has been setup to help the girls pay for college. Contributions can be sent to:
