BURLINGTON, Vt.-- UVM's 3-11 record this season hasn't brought much joy to Catamount fans during this holiday season. This time last year, the Cats were 2-8-4. Not much improvement.
It's been a struggle for the Cats over the last year and a half. Coach Kevin Sneddon says it's important to keep positive, but that attitude doesn't seem to be translating into victories on the ice. Winning equals job security, and Coach Sneddon realizes the pressure's growing. He's also willing to take on the criticism that comes with the losses.
Vermont has a chance to enter the holiday break on a winning note as the team hosts St. Lawrence Saturday at 7. The game will be televised on WCAXtra.
