We are continuing to spread Channel 3 Cheer where coworkers come in to cook up a favorite holiday recipe. Tonight it's egg nog with Anson Tebbetts, our news director.
Anson's egg nog
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1.5 cups of sugar
- 6 cups of milk
- 1 cup light rum
- 1.5 cups of bourbon
- 1 pint whip cream
- dash nutmeg
- dash cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Separate the eggs
2. Mix the egg yolks, milk, sugar, rum, and bourbon and cool for at least 1 hour.
3. Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold into the liquid.
4. Whip the cream and fold into the liquid, dust with spices
5. Cool over night and serve the next day
