Vermont Life magazine has a new publisher.
Dave Hakins was named to the post Tuesday.
Hakins replaces Steve Cook who was the interim publisher for the publication that is produced by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development.
Hakins joined the magazine last year as a contract employee selling advertisements for the publication. The South Burlington resident will maintain his role as director of the magazine's advertising sales, partnerships and events, and continue to work closely with Vermont Life's editor.
Cook will remain as deputy commissioner of Tourism.
