
As rookie years go, his was one of the best. Keegan Bradley emerged on the PGA Tour scene in 2011 and took it by storm. It started with his win in the Byron Nelson Championship in late May and culminated with the PGA Championship in mid august.
In 28 events, Bradley finished in the top ten, four times. His total earnings for the year exceeding $3,750,000. The Wannamaker trophy winner and PGA rookie of the year got to throw out the first pitch at Fenway Park before a Red Sox game and recently dropped the puck for the ceremonial face off before a Bruins game.
At 25 years old, the future looks even brighter for Woodstock's Keegan Bradley. For now, his 2011 is worthy of the 4th best local sports story of the year.
