BURLINGTON, Vt.-- It's much more than just a paddle and a Wiffle Ball. Combine tennis, badminton and ping pong and you get one of the fastest growing sports for folks over 50. Pickle Ball started in Seattle, Washington during the 1960's. The Creator of the game named it after his dog, Pickles.
The game is currently being played by seniors all across the State. At the Miller Community Center in Burlington, they meet five days a week from 10:30 to noon. Of course, they're always looking for new players.
