MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - A few inches of snow have given Vermont ski areas a boost.
Ski and tourism officials are planning to take videos of Wednesday's snowfall and send them out to East Coast television stations to get the word out that the slopes are open for business.
Jen Butson of the Vermont Ski Association tells the Burlington Free Press an advertising blitz on social media sites is under way.
