Reactions to Gov. Shumlin's State of the State address

Burlington, Vermont – January 5, 2012

Kristin Carlson's coverage at Statehouse for the 2012 Legislature's opening week continues.

Thursday, Gov. Peter Shumlin gave his State of the State address. As expected, the focus was on Tropical Storm Irene, but topics such as health care, broadband internet access, and economic recovery were also addressed.

Kristin spoke with Sen. John Campbell, D-Senate President Pro Tem, and Sen. Randy Brock, R-Franklin County, who is also a Republican candidate for governor, to get their reactions to Shumlin's speech.
