Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh and Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington are teaming up to help heart patients.
Fletcher Allen will now oversee CVPH's heart surgery program. For the past seven years, St. Peter's in Albany has overseen the program in Plattsburgh. CVPH doesn't offer all heart surgeries, so patients who need one the hospital doesn't provide will now go to Burlington instead of Albany.
