Fire forces Rt. 103 closure

Chester, Vermont -- January 9, 2012

A big fire in southern Vermont forced the closure of Route 103 in Chester last night.

The two alarm fire broke out shortly before 8:30 p.m. at a home on Colburn Road, right off of 103.

Crews from as far away as Weathersfield responded.

No one was injured. The home is a complete loss.
