Colebrook, New Hampshire - January 12, 2012
The owner of a gun factory in Colebrook, N.H., has been indicted on manslaughter and negligent homicide charges for an explosion that killed two employees.
The explosion occurred in May 2010 at the Millennium Design Muzzleloaders plant. The employees were hand packing black powder into pellets when the explosion occurred.
An investigation by federal safety officials led to the issuance of 54 health and safety citations, and penalties of over $1 million.
Now, a grand jury in Coos County thinks owner Craig Sanborn should be held criminally responsible for the deaths.
