HGTV Dream House in Stowe for sale

Stowe, Vermont - January 20, 2012

Want to own a dream home? For $3.8 million you can! The Stowe Reporter says the HGTV Dream Home in Stowe is on the market.

The 3,400-square-foot home was part of a sweepstakes offered by the network a little over a year ago. The Illinois couple that won the house says they love it, but they don't visit enough to keep it.

Taxes on the home are nearly $30,000 a year now and they are expected to go up after an appraisal next summer.
