Burlington, Vermont - January 20, 2012

The Vermont man accused in a deadly drunk driving crash in downtown Burlington is expected to change his plea.

Prosecutors say just over a year ago, Timothy Dowd led police on a high-speed chase through the city, ran a red light, and then crashed into a car driven by Kaye Borneman. Borneman died at the scene.

Dowd, who is facing a slew of charges including second-degree murder, is expected to change his plea Thursday.
