St. Albans woman sentenced to 3 years for assaults

St. Albans, Vermont - January 23, 2012

A St. Albans woman will spend three years to life in prison for sexually assaulting two young boys.

Misty Smith pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault without consent and two counts of unlawful restraint as part of a plea deal.  
     
Police say she hid two eleven year old boys in her house in the fall of 2009 and sexually abused them and continued to keep them even after being confronted by the boys' parents and police.
