Burlington, Vermont – January 26, 2012
It was the Vermont Dairy Farmers Association meeting Thursday at the closing day of the Vermont Farm Show. They discussed the year ahead, and with milk prices predicted to slightly drop, they're hoping the feed and fuel costs will also fall. The meeting wouldn't be complete, however, without announcing the Vermont Dairy Farmer of the Year.
Diane Bothfeld of the Vt. Agriculture Agency appeared on The :30 to talk about the year ahead and the best of the year just past for Vermont dairy farmers.
