NY man charged with raping SUNY student

Plattsburgh, New York -- January 27, 2012

A New York man is under arrest, charged with raping a SUNY Plattsburgh student.

University police say Trevor Sisto of Fort Covington is the man behind the alleged sexual assualt.

They say the incident happened while he was visiting the student's residence hall last fall.

Sisto was taken into custody Wednesday. He was arraigned and is being held at the Clinton County Jail. He's facing $25,000 in bail.
