Burlington, Vt. --- Freshman Four McGlynn netted a game-high 20 points to lead the Vermont men's basketball team to a 77-60 victory over visiting New Hampshire in America East action on Sunday afternoon at Patrick Gym. The Catamounts closed out the game on a 16-2 run to improve to 13-10 overall and 7-2 in league play. After allowing New Hampshire (7-13, 2-7 America East) to shoot 68 percent in the first half, the Catamounts' defense tightened up in the second frame as the Wildcats only scored 20 points on 25.9 percent shooting. Sophomore Sandro Carissimo and senior Matt Glass each added 14 points for Vermont, as the Cats have now won seven of their last eight overall and avenge an early season loss to UNH. Vermont returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to face Boston U in a basketball doubleheader that will be shown on ESPN3. The UVM women's team will face the Terriers starting at 5 p.m. and the men's game will follow at 7 p.m. at Agganis Arena.
