In high school basketball action Monday night, the Mount Mansfield boys basketball team improved to 12-1 with a 70-39 win over Essex in Jericho.
In girls hoops, a Brittany Moody free throw with ten seconds to go broke a 47-47 tie and led host South Burlington to a 50-47 home win over Colchester.
