WOODSVILLE, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire fire officials have named the person who died in a house fire in Woodsville last month.
Officials say the victim in the Jan. 26 fire has been identified as Lora Kydd of Woodsville. The medical examiner's office says she died as a result of smoke inhalation. The cause of death has been ruled accidental.
The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated. Investigators say it appears the fire originated in a structural space between the first and second floor of the home. Possible electrical causes are being examined.
Fire investigators did not find any working smoke alarms on the first and second floor of the home.
