Posted: Updated:
COLCHESTER, Vt. -

The Camp Holy Cross property in Colchester is no longer on the market.

According to the Burlington Free Press, the 26-acre property on Malletts Bay has been purchased by a Colchester businessman.

Bruce Barry reportedly bought the camp from the Vermont Roman Catholic Diocese for $4 million.

The church is selling the Colchester property to pay off sex abuse settlements.

Barry owns land near the former camp. He says he has no immediate plans for the property.
