Will all those state loans really create jobs at eCorp?

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

As Channel 3 reported last year, a company called eCorp moved to Middlebury after receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars in economic development loans from the state of Vermont. At their opening they were bringing 35 new jobs to the state.

eCorp specializes in teaching English to non-native English speakers for global companies like Google, IBM and UPS.

Andy Bromage, Political Editor at Seven Days, wrote about the company in his Fair Game column this week. He appeared on The :30 to tell us more about it.
