Teen attacked at Northlands Job Corps

VERGENNES, Vt. -

A teenager is recovering from a vicious attack at the Northlands Job Corps in Vergennes.

Police say Frederick Teal, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and his girlfriend, Eleanor Wilcox, 17, of Providence, R.I., are both charged with aggravated assault. Police aren't naming the victim because he's a minor.

Police say Wilcox attacked the victim Tuesday, kicking him in the back and the neck before Teal joined the beating. The teenager is being treated at the hospital for a broken neck.

Northlands Job Corps waited 24 hours to call police.
