Snowboarder dies at Jay Peak

A Massachusetts man was killed while snowboarding at Jay Peak after authorities say he lost control and hit a tree.

According to police, 29-year-old Sylven Walton of Cambridge Massachusetts was riding on a black diamond trail when the incident took place. Police say Walton WAS wearing a helmet. Ski patrol administered CPR -- but police say Walton died on the scene.
