Police have arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery of a West Rutland pharmacy.
Police say 42-year-old Christopher McCarthy -- who lives in the Rutland area -- walked into the Rite Aid Saturday afternoon and passed a note to a pharmacist demanding prescription drugs. He also claimed to have a gun.
Police say they tracked McCarthy down later in the evening and arrested him outside the West Rutland Price Chopper.
