New Keurig machine unveiled by Green Mountain Coffee

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Green Mountain Coffee hopes to tempt higher end coffee drinkers with a new Keurig machine.

It's called the Keurig Vue and it will offer lattes and more control over coffee strength, temperature and beverage size. But it will cost $250-- almost twice as much as a typical Keurig machine.

The K-cups for the new Vue will be recyclable. Critics have charged that K-cups are wasteful. The Vue arrives as Green Mountain is fighting to bring its stock price up. Some Wall Street experts had called the company's earnings inflated and they worry about the company's role when its patent for K-cups expires later this year.
