Troy voters say no to school renovations

TROY, Vt. -

Voters in Troy gave a big NO to a school renovation bond Tuesday; 221 voted against the $2.2 million plan, 61 voted for it.

The money would have paid for a sprinkler system, a new boiler, drainage issues, and addressed other safety concerns. It would have added 9 cents to tax rate.

Now the board will try to work with voters on Town Meeting Day.
