LYNDONVILLE, Vt. -
A tractor-trailer hit an interstate overpass Monday night in Lyndonville.
It happened at about 9:45 p.m. along Route 5.
According to police, Juan Gallego, 27, was carrying a high load when he struck the bottom of the overpass, causing damage to a support beam.
The Chelsea, Mass., man then took off. Police caught him a short time later in Littleton, N.H.
Gallego did not have a driver's license or a CDL.
Criminal charges are pending.
