Colchester may house wildlife preserve

COLCHESTER, Vt. -

Colchester may soon be home to the state's newest wildlife preserve.

The Department of Fish and Wildlife wants to purchase 110 acres of Lake Champlain marshland just south of Chimney Corners along Route 7.

The area is known as either Munson Flats Wetlands or the Malletts Creek.
